them benjamins..

It's time for me to step out into a great world again. Destination this time is none other than, Los Angeles, home of the stars! As the picture might suggest, yes, I will spend mucho dinero! Can't wait to be on the West Coast, see what people are talking about and why it's supposed to be such an oasis of grandeur! Any requests on what I should buy over there? :)
Well, before leaving, I will leave you with a snippet of a very nice, french, ending theme. In what movie does the song appear? None other than Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof. Yes sir. Enjoy it..
P.S. Meeting Kobe Bryant in person would be great too. Cheers mates!

good times, bad times, apl times

Rachel Bilson as Wonder Woman. I remember being a wee bit younger and observing how a really great girlfriend can act and be. Summer dressing up for Seth is maybe the highlight for me in "The O.C." Nobody can beat Wonder Woman! Why? Because she's WONDERful. That great pun was uttered by another great actress, Emily Deschanel, also known as Temperance Brennan, in the hit tv-show Bones. Check it.

From a geek point of view, the Emily Deschanel one was more recognisable, but Rachel Bilson was truly the hottest WonderWoman. Wonderful Wonderwoman.

Anywho, I've found a new band to like. Channel Two! Made up by Terence Yoshiaki (founding member and drummer in the Black Eyed Peas in the early days) and Andreas Bingel ( singer, electro/house dj ). Combining "american soul" and "european electro" (yes, this was taken straight from the MySpace site) they manage to fuse a sound that I dig.

On their debut album they have a slew of talented artists, even apl, which is most appealing to me. So listen to "Bringa", featuring apl and nfa (No-Fixed-Abode) and dig the most rockin' flutation ever heard. at least in a while. (Heard the song on One Tree Hill episode 2 btw.)

red wine's been a good friend of mine

..it's more like Dr.Pepper's been nice to me. Lately, I've been watching a lot of "Bones" and being a forensic anthropologist seems like mucho fun. But being a genius and earning three doctorates is not. :)

Catching up on Naruto as well, reading 115 manga chapters at work was very rewarding. Finally a series that kills off important characters! some real drama for once. aaaand tomorrow..

Gossip Girl episode 12. Yes, indeed. Can't wait. Obviously N and C are going to have a big fight. my money is on Nate.

Chris Garneau is a cool pianist. He writes weird songs with a way of melancholy about them, being ironic and all. But it is appealing. The song i'm promoting is a song appearing on Grey's Anatomy.. It has a nice ring to it and the piano's steady pulsing in the song is really nice and simple. He writes very clean music without much distortion and meddling, usually found in bigger studio releases. So, please run out and buy his album " Music For Tourists ".
